The food is good (tater tots are excellent)! Bartenders are friendly. Their Covid protocols have been spot on. Now that they're open for dine-in, masks are worn if you are not sitting down at your table or the bar.
Fast service. Parking on the side of the road. Has Irish music live on Thursday.
We had a private party here for a milestone birthday & it turned out great ! Our guests had nothing but complements anout the party. We wanted an Irish Pub vibe & absolutely got that. 85 guests, a full house & service was excellent. Owner Kevin Pap is super easy to work with, remembers & executes EVERYTHING you want. ( Even though I'd been a bit uneasy, as the lawyer in me wants to document everything in advance, and Kevin is a bit more "relaxed" about that.) Reasonably priced, too.
Plank Road Tavern is my favorite bar in Lakewood. Its got A chill vibe like a dive but classier and cleaner. I've never had a bad time here. The owners and staff are kind and efficient and I genuinely enjoy my time Everytime I'm there. Two thumbs way up all day ...

Great tavern!!! We were there for a wedding reception and the food was soooo good. Bartenders were friendly, and the owners are very nice people. Great atmosphere. Would be my local bar if I lived closer.
